Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Bayit Host, operated by Eyal Samuel Spier, Felsenhofstrasse 14, 8134 Adliswil, Switzerland.

The service

Bayit Host is a household hospitality-planning service for occasions, private invitations, guest responses, menus, contributions, reminders, hosting history and related planning. Hosts have authenticated accounts; ordinary guests may respond using a private invitation link without an account.

Households and responsibilities

Household owners control membership, billing and deletion. Members act within the permissions available to them. Hosts are responsible for the guest information they enter, for having an appropriate reason to use it, for keeping host access secure, and for sending private links only to intended recipients.

Private links and acceptable use

Invitation links are private credentials for a specific invitation. You must not misuse links, probe other households, interfere with the service, upload unlawful material, abuse messaging or payment systems, or use Bayit in a way that harms others or violates applicable law.

Free and Plus

Bayit Free is available at no subscription price. Bayit Plus is offered at $7.99/month or $59/year, in USD, as shown before Checkout. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected interval until cancelled. The household owner can manage cancellation through Stripe’s hosted subscription-management services. The service displays the applicable renewal or scheduled end date; entitlement changes are based on trusted billing events, not a browser redirect.

Charges and refunds

Paid transactions may be sold and processed through Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe’s merchant-of-record service. Where it applies, Stripe handles payment, applicable indirect taxes, invoicing, disputes, and transaction-level payment support under its terms. Bayit remains responsible for providing the software service and product support. Contact [email protected] if you believe a charge is incorrect. Any mandatory statutory refund or consumer rights remain unaffected.

Changes, availability and support

We may maintain, change or discontinue features to operate and improve Bayit. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Material terms or pricing changes will be presented as appropriate before they apply. Support is available at [email protected].

Export, leaving and deletion

Eligible owners may export household data. Members may leave subject to ownership safeguards. Household deletion requires exact-name confirmation and is blocked while Stripe billing remains active, past due, or scheduled to end in the future. Account deletion is blocked until ownership responsibilities are resolved. Operational backups expire according to their retention schedule.

Responsibility and mandatory rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bayit is provided without a promise that it will meet every purpose, and the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
