How Bayit works

From “who’s coming?” to a table ready to share.

01

Plan the occasion

Start with Shabbat, a Jewish holiday, or your own gathering. Add meals, timing, and capacity.

02

Invite privately

Send each household a private link. Guests can RSVP and share dietary details without creating an account.

03

Cook together

Build the menu, coordinate contributions, and keep host-only preparation details in one place.

04

Remember next time

See what you served, who joined, and begin the next gathering with less setup.

Bayit Plus

Host together. Share the work. Remember everything.

Plan together, coordinate the meal, and keep useful hosting knowledge close at hand.

Plan together

Share one household plan with a spouse, partner, or other household hosts.

Potluck coordination

Assign contributions, let guests refine dishes, and show who is bringing what on the shared menu.

A calmer kitchen

Save dishes and use host-private kitchen readiness workflows.

Host again with less setup

Start from a previous menu or occasion while keeping every new guest list and RSVP fresh.

Never miss a reply

See who still needs a follow-up, receive calm host reminders, and prepare a personal WhatsApp message.

Remember every Shabbat

See when you last hosted each family, what you served, and who you have not had over in a while.

Cook for the right number

Reuse a menu, scale it for tonight, and turn your host dishes into a shared shopping list.

Host Again

Your next Chag does not need to start from a blank page.

Choose a previous occasion, optionally invite the same households with fresh private links, reuse the menu, adjust it for this year, scale the quantities, and generate the shopping list.

Every invitation is new. Old RSVPs, attendance, contributions, and commitments stay in their original occasion.

  1. Start from a previous occasion
  2. Choose who to invite again
  3. Reuse and adjust the menu
  4. Scale quantities and shop

Questions, answered

Hospitality first, accounts only where they help.

Do guests need a Bayit account?

No. A guest uses their private invitation link to view and respond to the invitation.

Is Bayit an event-management platform?

Bayit is built specifically around Jewish household hospitality: Shabbat, Chagim, shared meals, and the memory that makes repeat hosting easier.

Can my spouse or another host help?

Bayit Plus lets a household invite additional host members into the same plan.

What happens if I cancel Plus?

Billing is managed through Stripe. Your plan follows the cancellation date shown in Bayit; hospitality data is not deleted merely because Plus ends.

Does Host Again copy old replies?

No. It can reuse planning structure and issue fresh invitations, but it never copies old RSVPs, attendance, contributions, or reminder history.
